PRESBYTERIAN SEPTUAGENARIAN DONATES TO EGYAM CHILDREN’S HOME

Madam Lena Afi Ocloo, a member of the Salem Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Anaji Estates in Takoradi marked her 70th birthday with a donation to the Egyam Children’s Home.

She donated items including bags of rice, gallons of cooking oil, biscuits, sandals, toys, baby diapers, bottles, bottled and sachet water among others.

Madam Ocloo thanked God for her life and for what he has done for her all these years.

 

Items donated

Rev. Sr. Mary Gladys Boakye, FST who received the items for the orphanage expressed gratitude to Madam Lena Ocloo for her kind gesture.

 

Presentation of the items

The Egyam Children’s Home was funded by Mrs. Thea van den Bosch with support from the Dutch Foundation together with the late Rev. Fr. Joseph Arthur Blay. The home which started with 32 children is currently supporting 70 children.

Presently, the Home is being managed by the Daughters of the Most Holy Trinity (FST) for the Catholic Diocese of Sekondi-Takoradi(owners of the project)
