NEW OFFICERS INSTALLED FOR KNIGHTS OF MARSHALL, WESTERN SOUTH REGION

On Saturday, September 26, 2020, new officers were installed for the Western South Region of Knights of Marshall with Worthy Brother John Benedict Kobina Awotwi as the new Regional Grand Knight and Brother Dr. Lewis Brew as Deputy Regional Grand Knight.

The installation took place during the Regional Conference held at the Marshallan center, Sekondi. The Supreme Council was represented by Sir Knight Brother Naval Commander J. B. Wilberforce (Rtd) and Worthy Brother Dr. Dr. Samuel Bert Boadi-Kusi.

 

The installation team was made up of Sir Knight Brother Naval Commander J. B. Wilberforce as the Installation Officer, Worthy Brother Dr. Dr. S.B. Boadi-Kusi, the Installation Secretary, Rev. Father Anthony Abakah Arthur as the Installation Chaplain and Worthy Brother Peter Jimpetey-Gyan as the Installation Guard.

Other officers installed were;

Brother Albert K. Biney as Regional Secretary
Brother Alexander Afful as Assistant Regional Secretary
Brother Derick Prince Agbodjan as Regional Secretary of Finance
Brother Francis Enimil Ashun as Regional Auditor
Brother Dominic Samuel Arthur as Regional Youth Co-ordinator.

Also installed were;

Brother Kofi Dossah as Regional Membership Co-ordinator
Brother Andreas Bordoh as Regional Laity Representative
Brother Franklin Ackon as Regional Deputy Communications Officer
Brother Nick Tawiah as Regional Master of Ceremonies
Brother George Sarkwa as Regional Marades Co-ordinator.

*THANKSGIVING MASS*

A Thanksgiving Mass for the newly installed Regional Grand Knight for the Western South Region, Worthy Brother John Benedict Kobina Awotwi was held on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Adiembra.

In attendance at the Mass presided over by the Parish Priest, Monsignor James Margaret Mesu were the immediate Past Regional Grand Knight and Senior Officers in the Region.

 

In a speech, the Regional Grand knight thanked the Parish Priest for the support given the Marshallan fraternity and also pledged his support towards the development of various church projects.

He acknowledged that the Ladies were at another event in Kumasi and a joint thanksgiving Mass will be held at a later date to be communicated.

The Cash donation was also made towards the purchase of essential materials to help curb the spread of Covid-19.
