TECHIMAN DIOCESAN PRIESTS DONATE TO CATHOLIC HEALTH FACILITIES
The Techiman Diocesan Priests Association (TEDPA) has made a donation to Catholic health facilities within the Bono East region. The items include sanitizer, tissues, face marks, liquid soap, drums of veronica buckets inter alia worth GH¢ 13. 000.00.
These items were given purposely as their quota to support the fight against the corona virus pandemic. The Bishop of the diocese, Most Rev. Dominic Yeboah Nyarko presented the items on behalf of his priests and in his own capacity to the Diocesan Health Director, Mr. Francis Tawiah to be distributed to the health facilities in the Catholic diocese of Techiman.
Very Rev. Fr. Martin Oduro Bilson, President of TEDPA made mention at this short ceremony that it seems all attention during most donations goes to the patients rather than the health facility staff.
Therefore, the donation made targets the staff first and then to all at the said health facilities. He also reiterated that the health safety protocols must be adhered by all and sundry for a victorious fight against Covid – 19.
Mr. Francis Tawiah, the diocesan health director received the items on behalf of the health facilities and expressed gratitude to members of TEDPA for the kind gesture.
Present at the ceremony were ; Very Rev. Fr. Samuel Kofi Adjei (Vice President of TEDPA) , Rev. Fr. Charles HayFord Agyapong (Financial Secretary), Rev. Fr. Enock Duah (Assistant financial secretary), Rev. Fr. Richard Baatabe (PRO) and some members of TEDPA.
