BEOSA ’98 DONATES COVID-19 RELIEF ITEMS TO ALMA MATER
The 1998 Year group of the Bishop Essuah Old Students Association (BEOSA) on Friday, March 5, 2021, made a donation of Covid-19 relief items to the school. The items included Veronica buckets, liquid soaps, hand sanitizers, tissue papers among others.
Mr. Afrane, Headmaster of Bishop Essuah J.H.S. who spoke on behalf of the school expressed gratitude to the group for their generosity to the school. He also assured them they will do their best to ensure the School continues to achieve more academic laurels.
Gloria Hasford Addisu, President of BEOSA 98 in an interview said the donation was their gesture of appreciation for the training and sense of value inculcated in them during their time as pupils in the school.
“The education we received from the school was a wholesome one. Our teachers did not focus only on academics. They were also interested in our social, emotional, and spiritual well-being as well” She added.
According to her, this year’s donation was the third they were making after the year group decided to donate annually to the School. Previous donations included sets of dual desks and stationery. She also used the opportunity to appeal to other BEOSA Year groups to imitate the example of the 1998-year group and support the School meet its varied needs.
Other members of the BEOSA 1998 Year group who were present include Bernadette Sencherey (Secretary), Frederick Ackon (Assistant Secretary), Alima Annan, Kofi Annan, Jemimah.
